Bazaz Glass: A Study of Surface, Texture, Design and Function in Glass Joan Bazaz is an observer of natural forms and is focused on translating her drawings to glass. She approaches her art with an eye for the unpredictable—embedded wire fired in glass panels, enamel surface decoration applied to glass which become functional lights and tableware, built up layers of frits (finely ground glass) into salt bowls, suspending glass panels for room dividers, recently her work has taken to exploring printing with glass. info@bazazglass.com
